Deputy Chairman of the Penza City Duma Yuri Alpatov noted that the region is facing a shortage of narrow profile health workers.
“The program of training general practice doctors is successfully implemented in the Penza region. Unfortunately, until now, most people do not know that they can get help in a single doctor’s consulting room,” he said.
Yuri Alpatov charged the head of the clinic, cardiologist Elena Volodina, to place the information on the activities of general practitioners, their location and schedule in the lobby of the building.
In general, the Commission members were satisfied with the organization of the reception of patients in the clinic.
Yuri Alpatov stressed that the City Duma representatives will continue to visit health facilities of Penza.
It is expected that City Clinical Hospital named after G.A. Zakharyin will be the next target for inspection.
