Penza, 25 July 2012. PenzaNews. Growth of birth rate has been registered in the Penza region in the past 6 months of 2012: there were born 508 children more than in the same period last year.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Penza region, the birth rate is 10,2 per one thousand people.

“The highest birth rate is registered in Bessonovsky district – 13%, Kolyshleysky district – 11.8%, Kameshkirsky district – 11.7%, and in Kuznetsk – 11.6%. In Penza the difference in birth rate between the two periods of the present and past years made 205 children,” reported the press service.
