Kuznetsk, 2 August 2012. PenzaNews. Owners of passenger transport companies operating in Kuznetsk, the Penza region, appealed to the head of the city administration Sergey Zlatogorsky for assistance in resolving the issue of transport fare increase.

“The reasons for the discussion of a sore topic were numerous complaints of Kuznetsk citizens regarding the insufficient number of GAZelle buses on the routes, headway incompliance and lack of duty transport in evening and at night,” the press service of Kuznetsk administration told news agency “PenzaNews.”

During a meeting with the mayor, representatives of passenger transport companies assured that they are ready to improve the quality of service and upgrade the bus fleet, if the price of travel is increased.

It is expected that the public transport fare in Kuznetsk will be 14 rubles from November 1, 2012.
