Penza, 10 August 2012. PenzaNews. Vitaly Serebryakov was appointed as a chief doctor of the Penza Regional Oncology Center. This was reported by the head of the press service of Ministry of health and social development of the Penza region Tatyana Manukhina.

“Prior to this appointment, Vitaly Serebryakov worked as a chief doctor of Bessonovsky Central Regional Hospital,” she said.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, Governor Vasily Bochkarev gave a critical evaluation of unethical and immoral behavior of the head doctor of Penza Regional Oncology Center, Vladimir Smirnov, against whom a protocol on administrative offence for driving intoxicated was filed.

After the incident, Vladimir Smirnov wrote the statement about his resignation and went on vacation.
