Russian officials and parliamentarians have 107 real estate objects abroad

Moscow, 20 August 2012. PenzaNews. 52 members of the Federal Assembly, governors, the higher ranks of the government and the presidential administration, and members of their families own or use 107 real estate objects abroad with a total area of 330 thousand sq. meters.
Most of all assets owned by the Russian establishment are located in Italy, Ukraine, France, Bulgaria, Spain and Belarus. All in all there are 23 countries in the list.
According to the magazine Ogonek, among representatives of the Penza region, the overseas property is available only for Senator Boris Spiegel: two residential houses of 973 and 547.93 sq. meters are located in Italy and registered to his wife.
26 deputies of the State Duma and members of their families possess 45 real estate objects abroad. 14 MPs have a total of 19 deposits in foreign banks totaling 683.8 million rubles.
Among the members of the Federation Council, 7 people have property overseas, spouses of 8 members possess assets abroad and in two families of senators both spouses have foreign property. All in all they possess 46 facilities, including 14 residential buildings, 11 plots of land and 9 apartments.
According to official figures, five people from the Russian government have property overseas. Among Russian governors, only the head of Krasnoyarsk Krai Lev Kuznetsov has housing and land outside of Russia.
