Penza, 22 August 2012. PenzaNews. An automobile race dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation will be held in the main streets of Penza on Wednesday, August 22.

“In the beginning of the event, cars of the colors of the national flag – white, blue and red – will be lined up on Lenin Square. Later the column will proceed in Pushkin street and in Arbekovo,” the press service of the Penza regional office of United Russia party told news agency “PenzaNews.”

It is expected that more than 50 cars will take part in the action which starts at 19.00 Moscow Time.

The Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation was established by presidential decree No. 1714 of 20 August 1994.
