Penza, 28 August 2012. PenzaNews. Experts of the Penza branch of Federal State Institution Roslesozaschita (Russian Center for Forest Protection) found forest areas with mass dried pine trees in the territory of Penza forestry of Russian Defense Ministry.

As the press service of the Russian Center for Forest Protection told new agency “PenzaNews,” the problem plantations were located near the river Kadada at the area of 83.2 hectares.

“The main reason for shrinkage of pine forests became the drought in 2010,” the press service explained.
