Penza, 29 August 2012. PenzaNews. The number of people who made an appointment at the doctor’s via electronic reception in Central Regional Hospitals (CRH) of Penza and Belinsky area increased last week.

As the deputy minister of Health and Social Development of the Penza region Pavel Degtyar put on Live Journal, 144 patients attended Penza CRH and 117 — Belinsky CRH by appointment via the Internet.

Explaining the reasons for more complicated procedure of making an appointment at the specialized doctors, Pavel Degtyar stated that many residents want to go to the specialized doctors right away but sometimes it is not justified because patients do not have necessary labs, for example.

Pavel Degtyar reminded that Russian Ministry of Health has published the project of temporary practice of making an appointment at the doctor’s on the official website. In accordance with it, people may visit physician, general practitioner or family doctor – pediatrician, dentist, and gynecologist by appointment via the Internet.

“Electronic reception is a step toward a transparent and civilized queue. Of course, patients with acute diseases are in priority but our task is to create a system in which the patient will see the doctor in due time,” the deputy minister of Health and Social Development of the Penza region concluded.
