Mokshan, 13 September 2012. PenzaNews. The regional competition Best Mechanic 2012 will be held in Mokshan Agrotechnological College in the Penza region on Friday, September 14.

According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, machine operators from different parts of the region will compete in theoretical and practical skills. Participants will demonstrate their knowledge of general arrangement of tractors, cultivating units, methods of tillage, technologies, and main regulations of cultivating units.

“The participants will show their practical skills in the field. The main assessment points will be — timeframe of tillage of a certain plot of land using tractor with a cultivating unit, maintaining the required depth, straightness of the unit passage, harvesting and crop residues removal, compliance with the rules of turning, soil quality after the passage of the unit,” explained the press service of the Ministry.
