Penza, 18 September 2012. PenzaNews. Socio-cultural marathon “Wholeheartedly for the Senior” devoted to the Seniors’ Day, will be held in the institutions of social protection of the Penza region from September 24 to October 5.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the region, as a part of the marathon social service institutions will host concerts, consultations will be provided to the elderly people at their homes, festive meetings will be organized for the veterans of social services.

“According to preliminary data, 35 thousand people are to participate in the celebration. This holiday is a tribute of respect to the senior, and not only in our country, but around the world,” noted the Deputy Minister of Health Yevgeny Troshin.
