“Now all the lawns will be sowed with “Canada Green,” which is adapted to the Russian climate and can withstand temperature variation from -40C to +40C, does not dry in the sun, inhibits weeds and is not afraid of vermin. In case of proper handling such lawns can last up to at least 12 years,” reported the press service of the city administration.

At the moment the new lawns have appeared at the fountain area by the Palace of Culture “Sovremennik,” in front of the United Settlement Cash Service Centre, near Lenin St, 59, and partly on Svetlaya St.

“By the end of October we also plan to sow the slope in front of the Lenin Square, and the site between the Palace of Sports and sports-concert complex “Soyuz,” the press service added.
