Award Ceremony of regional journalistic competition winners held in Penza

Penza, 21 September 2012. PenzaNews. Award Ceremony of the journalistic competition, held within the second regional Media festival “We are from Penza” took place on Friday, September 21. Among the employees of newspapers in their nominations the winners are Galina Isaycheva from Penzenskaya Pravda, Olga Klimkina from Reporter, Olga Sokova from Bekovsky Vestnik, and Lyudmila Evushkina from Serdobskie Novosti. Special prize was awarded to Irina Karabinova from the newspaper Zarechye Segodnya.

Among the employees of the local television the best are Inessa Romanova and Anastasia Razenkova — journalists of the broadcasting company Penza, and Elena Lisova-Yumatova, Andrey Mironov and Irina Danilevskaya representing the broadcasting company Nash Dom.

Natalia Eliseeva and Natalia Zykova from news agency PenzaNews were awarded in “Efficiency” and “Promotion of the Penza region in cyberspace” nominations.

Diploma for the best design went to news agency “PenzaInform.”

The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev, the chairman of the regional parliament Alexander Gulyakov, the head of the city Ivan Belozertsev, and some other officials came to congratulate the winners and grant special prizes established by the body of state power.

Special words of gratitude were said by the head of the region to the veterans of journalism who earned the right of the media to be called the fourth power.

“Without journalism and brave people, many problems would not have been solved, because the press represents a great part of the population, and it perceives the voice of population better than the power. I would like to say some good words to the young advanced part of the journalists, who now seeks and creates. Get closer to the people and at least sometimes get out of social networks to the people with their problems and triumphs about which we speak so very little,” Vasily Bochkarev said.

Honoring diplomas and gratitude of the governor, as well as laptops were granted to the reporters Sergei Inyushkin from Interfax and Anna Shirchkova from the broadcasting company Express, the editor of Zemlyaki Olga Kukartseva, the director general of the broadcasting company Nash Dom Tatiana Proshina, and the head of information programs of the state broadcasting company Penza Anna Sittel.

The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Alexander Gulyakov presented certificates and gifts to the editor of Penzenskaya Pravda Pavel Shishkin, the reporter of Nash Dom Sergei Fedotov, the editor of Express Dmitry Inyushkin, the editor of Young Leninist Yuliya Izmaylova, and the editor of Nash Dom Alexander Sbotov, wishing all of the guests national recognition, and noted the huge responsibility that the reporter has for each written word.

The Secretary of the Russian Union of Journalists, the editor-in-chief of Journalism and Media Market Vladimir Kasyutin awarded an honorable medal “For Service to Professional Community” to the veteran of the regional newspaper Penzenskaya Pravda Abram Peknoy.

Moreover, diplomas and gifts from the head of the city Ivan Belozertsev were granted to the reporter of Young Leninist Dinara Efimova, the journalist of Nash Dom Yuliya Dudoladova, the Secretary of Penzenskaya Pravda Larisa Gulina, the radio journalist of the state broadcasting company Penza Dina Cheremushkina, the editor-in-chief of Nash Dom Vladimir Belov, and the correspondent of the Internet TV channel TV-Penza Irina Anfalova.

“Today, one of the main topics discussed at the festival, are financial problems, but I think the time will come when the financial component steps aside. We as the power, in our turn, supported and will support our journalists,” Ivan Belozertsev noted.

The Deputy Director General – Head of the Regional Department of All-Russia State Broadcasting Company Rifat Sabitov, invited to the festival as a special guest, congratulated the organizers and participants of the festival with its opening and said that such events are “a good platform for understanding the role of Media in modern life and the understanding of how to develop further.”

“Someday I had the privilege to work as a director of the state broadcasting company Penza, and I can say that the Penza region is a role model for many regions in terms of building the relationship between the government and the press. This is very important, and this experience should be shared,” Rifat Sabitov pointed out.
