“An inventory of all the trees cut down in recent years should be made, and replace them with chestnuts, false acacias and lindens,” Vasily Bochkarev said.
He added that it is also important to identify the organizations which are going to be engaged in it.
The Head of Penza administration Roman Chernov informed the governor that currently Penza has 3,542 trees estimated as emergency ones.
“This year 189 trees were cut down, about 12 thousand trees were lost last year in the fire,” he said.
The Head of Penza administration added that, according to the forest development project, 6 thousand units of plants are prepared, most of which are bushes.
“Birches, spruces, lindens, and elms are planned to be bedded out. And for the first time in Penza ash trees will be planted,” summed up Roman Chernov.
