Penza, 25 September 2012. PenzaNews. The Head of administration of Penza Roman Chernov announced the elimination of kindergarten waiting lists in Zapadnaya Polyana district due to opening of a new kindergarten for 230 children on Tuesday, September 25.

“With this construction we have completely solved the problem of kindergarten lines in Zapadnaya Polyana district. The next step is to open a new kindergarten in Sever district, and thus the problem will be resolved there too,” the mayor stated.

He noted that the cost of building repair of a new kindergarten and equipment installation were more than 49,5 million rubles.

“Given to the fact that all kindergartens need to be repaired or built from scratch, this is a record low price. On average, it makes about 200 thousand rubles per person, while other constructions of new kindergartens made it around 400 thousand rubles per person,” Roman Chernov noted.

The new kindergarten No.109 was opened after renovation of the building of “House of Childhood.”

Construction work began in October 2011and finished in September 2012.

The kindergarten is meant for 11 groups — 230 children aged 1,5-7 years old.
