Penza, 1 October 2012. PenzaNews. Former Deputy Prime Minister of the Penza region Alexander Pashkov, convicted of fraud and sentenced for 8,5 years in prison, got conditional early discharge on Monday, October 1.
“According to the decision of Oktyabrsky District Court of Penza, Alexander Pashkov was released from the detention center No. 1 in the morning. Any person convicted under this article is entitled to apply to the court for conditional release. He took advantage of this right, and the court granted the petition,” informed the press secretary of the department of Federal Sentence Execution Service of Russia in the Penza region Andrey Popkov.
In turn, the press secretary of Oktyabrsky District Court of Penza Olesya Bakhteeva clarified what exactly the decision provides.
“Alexander Pashkov has no right to change his place of residence and work without notifying the police for the remaining period of detention,” explained the agency interlocutor.
