Rostelecom to be communication partner of Humanitarian Forum in Penza

Penza, 3 October 2012. PenzaNews. JSC Rostelecom will be a telecommunications partner of the second All-Russian Humanitarian Forum “Project Province” which will be held in Penza on October 4–5.

According to the press service of the company, Rostelecom will provide Wi-Fi Internet access at the new building of the Penza regional library named after M. Lermontov and a press center for federal and local media.

“The Humanitarian Forum dedicated to improving the quality of life in the province is supported by the Government of the Penza region. The issues of cultural migration and education in the regions will be discussed there. The forum will develop concrete recommendations to find new “points of growth” and vectors of regional development,’ the press service explained.

It is planned that during the two days of the event, it will be attended by over 500 people, including representatives of regional authorities, business leaders, experts in architecture, education, science, and well-known actors and writers. In particular, it is assumed that the forum will be attended by the journalists Nikolai Troitsky and Maxim Shevchenko, musician Alexander F. Sklar, director Vladimir Bortko, actresses Maria Golubkina and Irina Lachina.

The grand opening, which is to be hosted by the director and presenter Alexander Gordon, will be held in the great hall of the new building of the regional library named after M. Lermontov at 11.00 on Thursday, October 4.

The first Humanitarian Forum “Province” was held in Penza on October 27–28, 2011. The expert audience included prominent figures in the field of culture, art, television, sports and education — Alexander Gordon, Mikhail Zhvanetsky, Boris Grachevsky, Dmitry Bykov, Alla Surikova, Svetlana Svetlichnaya, Boris Korchevnikov, Larisa Verbitskaya, Svetlana Khorkina, Igor Dobrin, Natalia Bestemianova, Ivan Zasursky, Elena Vartanova, Yuri Vyazemsky, and others.
