This opinion was expressed by professor of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction Yuri Kruglov during the discussion of the development plan of the closed city until the year of 2030.

“A terrible road from Penza to Zarechny is a mistake of two master plans: Penza and Zarechny. Both plans are made without reference to each other, none of them took into account passenger traffic,” he explained.

“We need to buy a train. Then with the diesel engine at 40 km / h the residents of Zarechensk would be able to get to Arbekovo through Pensa-I train station. And the ticket price will be lower than for motor transport,” Yuri Kruglov said.

According to newspaper “Zarechye”, the city authorities are going to consider the project of Penza University professor.
