Free sale space allocated for bread manufacturers in Penza

Penza, 18 October 2012. PenzaNews. Manufacturers of bread and bakery products, operating in the region will be able to obtain free spaces to sell their products in a number of sales outlets in Penza, if a fixed price markup to the sale price will not exceed 5%.

According to the press service of the City Hall, the decision was made by the head of Penza administration Roman Chernov.
“This measure was demanded by the need to maintain a stable level of livelihood of the citizens, to minimize the price of bread, as well as to create a competitive environment for small and medium enterprises,” explained in the administration.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, October 17, the head of the governor’s staff department and the government of the region Viktor Rubtsov announced that Penza bakeries No.2 and No.4 are going to increase bread price by 15%.
“The regional government shall take all the measures needed to minimize this increase,” he wrote on Twitter.
