Penza, 29 October 2012. PenzaNews. 30,700 certificates for maternity (family) capital have been issued by the Penza region Pension Fund of Russia from January 1, 2007, since the Federal Law “On additional measures of state support for families with children” came in power.

“9,682 families decided to send their maternity capital in the amount of over 3,2 million rubles to repay housing loans. 176 families spent over 4,9 million rubles of maternity capital for children’s education. Six women decided to use the money to increase the funded part of their future pension,” reported the press service of the Penza region Pension Fund of Russia.

In 2012 the amount of maternity capital is 387,640 rubles 30 kopecks.

State Certificate for maternity (family) capital can be obtained by families with the second, third (and so on) child.

It is provided only once with no timeframe of application to the Pension Fund of Russia after the birth of the child.
