Penza, 29 October 2012. PenzaNews. Governor Vasily Bochkarev instructed the head of administration of Penza Roman Chernov to deal with the inappropriate quality of the drinking water in the city as soon as possible.

“It is no secret that the water supply network in Penza is worn, but it does not give the right to the authorities to just turn a blind eye on the water quality and provoke acute intestinal infections among population,” the head of the region underlined.

According to Vasily Bochkarev, to accelerate the replacement of worn-out urban water systems modest increase in rates under the current legislation should be considered.
