Pickets in support of Prisoners of Bolotnaya square held in Penza

Penza, 31 October 2012. PenzaNews. Activists of the movement “Left Front” organized pickets in support of the protesters, arrested on 6 May 2012 at Bolotnaya Square in Moscow, near the building of the Investigative Department of Investigative Committee of Russia in the Penza region on Wednesday, October 31. All in all, the event was attended by five people, who in succession stood at the entrance to the Investigative Committee holding a placard. The placards said “Freedom for Razvozzhaev,” “Freedom for Akimenkova,” and “Hands off Udaltsov.”

According to the coordinator of the “Left Front” in the Penza region Sergey Padalkin, at first it was planned to conduct a mass action but the City Council refused to agree the activities.
“Permitted rally in support of the detainees at Bolotnaya Square will take place near the monument “Pokayanie” in Moskovskaya Street on November 1,” he added.
No one was detained by police during the pickets near the Investigative Committee in Penza.
