Kuznetsk, 6 November 2012. PenzaNews. Eleven young specialists, who arrived in Kuznetsk, the Penza region from Samara, Togliatti, Syzran and Saratov, received the keys to their new apartments in the building constructed for health care workers on Tuesday, November 6.

According to the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev, the construction of housing for doctors is one of the most effective measures to combat the shortage of medical staff in the hospitals of the region.

“I would like to know that Kuznetsk does not experience shortage of medical workers. All the conditions for quality work have been created — the salary is paid, there are medications and high-tech equipment. Of course, we need to solve the personnel problem — create such conditions, so that young people wanted to work in their field after graduation,” the head of the region underlined.

According to the press service of the regional government, the construction of a 25-apartment house for health care workers with a total area of over 1,174 square meters began in 2011 as a part of a long-term program “Provision of health care establishments of Kuznetsk with medical staff in 2010–2012.”

“The average size of the apartment in the new building is 46,96 square meters. All accommodations were put in operation fully finished on the inside — with wallpaper, linoleum, a gas cooker, bathroom equipment, and doors. In addition, apartments have light, gas and water meters,” the press service explained.

The regional government noted that for the first time in Kuznetsk the outdoor heating main was constructed with application of new energy-saving technologies — the channelless laying of flexible pipes made of crosslinked polyethylene.
