Penza, 19 November 2012. PenzaNews. About ten buildings of the former agricultural consumer cooperative “Lermontov” located on the territory now owned by the State Lermontov Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany” in the Penza region, will be removed by the court.

According to administration of the cultural institution, the owners refused to leave the land of the reserve voluntarily.

“Arbitrazh Court of the Penza region ordered the defendants to dismantle a dozen buildings and remove debris from the reserve. However, appeals instance of the Arbitrazh Court in the city of Samara took the side of one of the defendants who appealed against the decision of the court,” the museum explained.

The administration added that then the cassation was filed.

“As a result, the Volga District Court located in Kazan reversed the decision of Samara court but upheld the decision of Penza Arbitrazh Court. Currently, the court decision is in the implementation stage: the defendants carry out works on cleaning the reserve,” the administration concluded.
