Penza, 21 November 2012. PenzaNews. Since the beginning of the current year, 489 certificates on social benefits have been given to the young families of the Penza region, who are in need of better housing.

“Up to now 120 certificates in the amount of 57,631 thousand rubles have been used. The rest of the families are still in the search of suitable accommodation. The certificates are valid for nine months,” pointed out the head of the Department of Housing Programs of Health Ministry of the Penza region Alexander Veldin.

He added that the budget of all the issued certificates amounts to 245,966 thousand rubles.

“Social benefits may be used to purchase accommodation, to construct a private house, as well as to pay the initial installment for the mortgage,” commented the head of the department.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the region, by the end of the year 59 more candidates will have got their certificates.
