It is expected that some of them will be located near the houses equipped with garbage chutes.

According to the Director of the Department of Natural Resources in Zarechny Tatyana Pchelintseva, this should encourage the city residents to engage in separate waste collection.

“The containers have been developed for people’s convenience, increase of their environmental awareness and consciousness,” she noted.

The deepened-type containers are emptied once a week, which is three times less often than ordinary waste disposal, clarified newspaper “Zarechye.”
