“Children’s Radio” to broadcast at 99,1 FM around the clock in Penza

Penza, 28 November 2012. PenzaNews. “Children’s Radio,” which became the winner of the federal competition of the Ministry of Communications of Russia for the terrestrial broadcasting right, will come on air at 99,1 FM in Penza after obtaining all the necessary documents.

According to the development director of the radio-station Alexei Bulanichev, creation of the regional representation office in Penza is not planned in the near future, as “Children’s Radio” will provide the federal broadcast.

“The project on a national children’s radio broadcasting has a 5-year-old history. In December 2007, Moscow was the first to hear “Children’s Radio,” and now over 25 cities of Russia share this opportunity,” the agency interlocutor commented.

He explained that, the concept of children’s radio station was developed by psychologists, teachers, physiologists and pediatricians.

“Children’s Radio” is committed to comprehensive education and development of children aged 4 to 12 by associating them to a recognized model of national and world culture. Radio takes into account age-specifics and routine of the listeners: the morning section is addressed to the children under 7 years old, day programs — to pupils, evening programs — to parents, and at night they broadcast the music for sleep,” Alexei Bulanichev said.

He stressed that “Children’s Radio” broadcasts around the clock and is based on a reasonable balance of the cognitive-developmental programs, entertainment, literary and musical performances, quality music for children.
