Penza, 30 November 2012. PenzaNews. Bank Kuznetsky provided financial assistance to the first sports club for the disabled, which officially opened in Kommunisticheskaya St in Penza on Friday, November 30.

According to the president of the regional public organization of disabled athletes “Povolzhye” Vladimir Novikov, the children with disabilities began to play chess and checkers in 2004.

“We did not have our own place before. Now this problem is solved, and our young athletes can develop their abilities in appropriate conditions,” he clarified.

In turn, the chairman of the board of Bank Kuznetsky Mikhail Dralin stressed that the opening of such a club is a significant event in the life of Penza.

“I would like to note the complexity of the position of a disabled child. Often disabled kids go into their shell feeling their inferiority, they are uncomfortable among healthy people. Creation of the club will unite these children, discover their abilities and talents making them feel important,” he said.

Mikhail Dralin stressed that participation in competitions not only increases the psychological confidence of children with disabilities, but also makes others see them differently.

“We empathize and see a wholesome person, capable of much no matter what. I believe that an important task of the society is to create a tolerant attitude to the disabled and a comfortable environment for them. I wish the club further development, victories, widening of sports fields, and, of course, gathering more participants,” concluded the chairman of the board of Bank Kuznetsky.

Bank Kuznetsky was founded as a limited liability company and registered on October 26, 1990 under register number 609. On January 19, 2012 it was transformed into OJSC Bank Kuznetsky.
