The deputy chairman of the government of the Penza region Valery Savin denied having sent a claim to the prosecutor’s office with a request to look into the statements made by the regional coordinator of the Left Front Sergei Padalkin in respect of the President of Russia.

“When did I write this? I am sick, and I have spent the past three weeks away from work,” Valery Savin explained in a phone interview with news agency PenzaNews on Wednesday afternoon, December 12.

The deputy chairman of the regional government also called the statement posted on Twitter by Sergei Padalkin “the most certain provocation.”

Moreover, Valery Savin expressed utter surprise about accusations on the fact of setting the military enlistment against Sergei Padalkin.

“This is a total nonsense,” the official commented.
