Penza, 12 December 2012. PenzaNews. The coordinator of the Left Front in the Penza region Sergey Padalkin, made a statement on Twitter about an alleged claim against him sent on behalf of the deputy chairman of the regional government Valery Savin to the prosecutor’s office asking to look into his statements about the President of Russia. Sergei Padalkin explained that this information came from the representative of power structures.

“I was called to the police office today. They told me that Valery Savin sent a claim to the prosecutor’s office about my remarks on Twitter. As far as I know, Valery Savin denies having written anything. But the police have no point in lying. I asked again, and they reaffirmed that the claim came from the deputy chairman of the regional government Valery Savin,” Sergei Padalkin told news agency PenzaNews.

He also noted that the copy of the claim allegedly written on behalf of Valery Savin was not provided to him.

“They just asked me to explain the situation. As I understand, they intend on sending it to the prosecutor’s office, where they will make a decision,” he suggested.

In addition, Sergei Padalkin expressed his concern not only about the claim, but also the fact that “the military enlistment has begun looking for him.”

“And the fact is that they came to my house, to my parents’ house. They said: “We had a phone call from Penza, your son is wanted in the army.” Although I have an illness: up to this moment the military enlistment showed no interest in me, and I could sleep peacefully at night,” he said, mentioning that these actions could have been initiated by the deputy chairman of the regional government.
