The Head of the Russian Federal Security Service in the Penza region Igor Khvostikov congratulated the current personnel and the veterans of the service on the remarkable date — the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Cheka-KGB-FSB, which is celebrated on Thursday, December 20.

“Over the past decades, the security authorities passed through a complex and many-sided process of development inextricably linked to social, economic, and political life of our society and the state. At all times, security officers have protected national interests, ensured peace of the country and its citizens. We are proud of the results of the operational activity of our service, traditions, team spirit, the officers, who perform their military and constitutional duty with honor and dignity in the regions with complicated situation,” Igor Khvostikov said.

He pointed out that along with the current members of the service, the veterans also are on watch making a great contribution to the education of new generations of employees bringing in the spirit of patriotism and loyalty to the traditions of the service.

“The memory of the unprecedented feat of those who participated in the Great Patriotic War, who honorably performed their duties in the difficult post-war years, will remain in our hearts forever,” said the head of the Russian Federal Security Service in the Penza region.

“I congratulate the personnel, veterans and their families on this holiday! I wish you all happiness, health and prosperity, strength and energy for professional growth and further productive work,” Igor Khvostikov added.
