Penza City Duma members adopted city budget 2013

Penza, 21 December 2012. PenzaNews. The members of the City Duma adopted the budget of Penza for 2013 and the planning period of 2014 and 2015, during the 47th session held on Friday, December 21. Forecasted total income of Penza budget is 8,535,664 thousand rubles, total expenditures — 9,316,569 thousand rubles, the city budget deficit — 780,905 thousand rubles.

It is estimated that the total income of Penza budget in 2014 will make 8,056,586 thousand rubles, and in 2015 — 8,354,296 thousand rubles.

According to the forecast, the total amount of expenditures of the city budget will reach 8,312,278 thousand rubles and 8,517,145 thousand rubles in 2014 and 2015 respectively, the budget deficit will be 255,692 thousand rubles and 162,849 thousand rubles.

The City Duma members also adopted the resources to finance the budget deficit of Penza, and set the maximum amount of financial reserve, which is formed to cover temporary cash shortages arising during the implementation of the budget; its amount is 25 million rubles for each financing period from 2013 to 2015.

It is expected that 62,6% of budget expenditures in 2013 will be spent for social services.

After the adoption of the budget, Penza mayor Yuri Alpatov thanked the deputies for their work on the preparation of the main financial document.

“During the discussion of the project budget, you paid attention to the most pressing issues that require the most careful consideration. All your wishes were taken into account in the final version, which may truly be considered socially oriented. It is also important that the next year budget is adopted not in March, but the last session of this year. I believe, this is a significant event,” he said.
