Bread price in Penza increased by 16.2% for 4 months

Penza, 29 December 2012. PenzaNews. The price of 1 kg of rye-wheat bread in Penza, from the beginning of September 2012 till the end of December, rose by 16.2% – from 25 rubles 93 kopecks to 30 rubles 14 kopecks. In Volga federal district, it is more expensive only in Samara and Ufa. Residents of Cheboksary buy bread at the best price – 24 rubles 29 kopecks.

According to Maristat data, the price of wheat flour in Penza is also one of the highest in the Volga Federal District – 24 rubles 66 kopecks for 1 kg. The lowest cost of this product is fixed in Orenburg – 20 rubles 58 kopecks.

However, the cost of wheat in Penza and Yoshkar-Ola is the best in the District – 18 rubles 16 kopecks and 18 rubles 3 kopecks for 1 kg, respectively. In Perm, wheat costs almost twice as much – about 34 rubles.

According to official statistics, the price of sausage, sugar, salt, buckwheat, noodles, onions and apples in Penza is the lowest among all the regional centers of the Volga Federal District.
