In addition, the committee representatives held preventive discussions with the management and staff of bars on the necessity to follow the law.

According to the chief expert of the Penza region government, department of crime prevention and cooperation with law enforcement authorities Oleg Kurdyukov, such raids are meant to remind the employees of places of entertainment not to sell alcohol to minors.

“In Russia, alcohol is not banned, and young people often go to cafes in their leisure time. Drinking often leads to delinquency. Our task is to ensure that the law is not violated in entertainment establishments. This time, minors were not detected there,” Oleg Kurdyukov commented.
