Zarechny, 21 January 2013. PenzaNews. Video cameras are planned to be installed at illegal dumps in Zarechny, the Penza region. This was stated by the Director General of the public corporation “Radiotelephone company” Yakov Kanevsky at a weekly meeting in the city administration on Monday, January 21.

According to the head of the public corporation, installation of video cameras at the places of illegal dumping will discourage those who litter, because their faces will be recorded.

“The company is ready to provide the video cameras, with communication cables. But we need help getting to electricity devices, as well as the lighting of the areas at night,” Yakov Kanevsky said.

Mayor of the city Vyacheslav Gladkov supported the initiative of the company, and said that the scheme of interaction between municipal enterprises on camera installation will be worked out in the nearest future.

“The problem of illegal dumping is extremely relevant today in Zarechny. Installation of video cameras will bring the perpetrators to justice,” television and radio company “Zarechny” quoted the head of the administration.
