Penza, 22 January 2013. PenzaNews. The Volga Federal District championship in artistic gymnastics will be held at the Palace of Sports “Burtasy” in Penza on January 28–30.

The participants are expected to come from the Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Ulyanovsk regions, Mordovia, Mari El, Tatarstan, Udmurtia and Chuvashia.

The Penza region will be presented by Pavel Pavlov, Dmitry Turaev, Dmitry Kharkov, Vladimir Vladimirov, Ivan Olushev and Anastasia Kadysheva.

The athletes will compete in team and individual contests, as well as in variations of all-round gymnastics.

According to the Internet service “Penza-Sport,” at the end of the championship, the teams of the districts will be formed to participate in the championship of Russia, which will also be held in Penza on March 1–6.
