Former coordinator of the opposition movement “Left Front” in the Penza region Sergey Padalkin is doing his military service in the reconnaissance platoon, military town No. 32, in the outskirts of Yekaterinburg. This was reported by the military commissar of the region Anatoly Sinelnikov during a round table on the issues of preparing young people for the military service, which was held in the small hall of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region on Wednesday, January 23.

“On January 4 Sergey Padalkin took the oath and was immediately placed in the reconnaissance platoon. He has already earned positive characteristics of the direct mentors,” the commissar underlined.

According to Anatoly Sinelnikov, so far the opposition leader and his wife Margarita Narkevich reported no violations during the military service.

As Margarita Narkevich told news agency “PenzaNews,” Sergei Padalkin is preparing for a two-month field management with the reconnaissance platoon.
