Anatoly Sinelnikov: Every fifth Penza conscript has higher education

Penza, 23 January 2013. PenzaNews. Every fifth young man recruited for military service from the Penza region, has university degree. This was reported by the military commissar of the region Anatoly Sinelnikov during a round table on the issues of preparing young people for the military service, which was held in the small hall of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region on Wednesday, January 23.

“On average, in Russia only about 15% of conscripts have university diplomas, which means that the Penza region is far ahead of many regions of the country,” he stressed.
Anatoly Sinelnikov added that in the Penza region, the number of young people approved for the military service out of the total number of conscripts remains almost unchanged from year to year, and amounts to 72–74%.
“Throughout the country, the index varies from 65% to 67%,” he pointed out.
