Alexander Ivanov: Reconstruction of Moskovskaya Street in Penza to be completed on time

Penza, 25 January 2013. PenzaNews. Reconstruction of Moskovskaya St in Penza will be completed on time — by August 31, 2013. This was announced by the deputy director of the city department of capital construction Alexander Ivanov during an administration meeting on Friday, January 25.
“The price of the contract for the overhaul of the intersection of Moskovskaya St and Kuraeva St up to Bakunina St is 339,272,224 rubles 45 kopecks,” he specified.
Alexander Ivanov added that at this point the work on road surface and border stone dismantling is completed and rain water sewer is being replaced partially in M. Gorky St.
“The old street lights have been dismantled and partially renewed. As of January 22, 2013, 18 lighting poles have already been connected,” he informed.
According to Alexander Ivanov, earlier there was a meeting with the owners of the buildings in Moskovskaya St where they were asked to perform repair of facades and roofs.
“Some buildings have been restored by now,” the deputy director of the city department of capital construction commented.
Moreover, Alexander Ivanov said that a decision was made to arrange some space for craftsmen where they would sell souvenirs for the 350th anniversary of Penza.
“The space is to be laid out on Fontannaya Square,” he concluded.
