According to Vasily Bochkarev, road cleaning equipment does not work in most cases in Penza, or is locked in garages.
“I demand to bring out all the equipment, which is demonstrated to the residents each year before the beginning of winter,” the governor said.
In turn, Roman Chernov noted that over 60% of sidewalks in Penza are in good condition.
“Today, 123 people are injured due to improper state of city streets. If the cleaning work has not been conducted at all, there would have been more victims,” he said.
Vasily Bochkarev noted that the activity of the head of Penza administration in terms of the city improvement is inefficient.
