Penza, 28 January 2013. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev demanded to ban trimming facades of municipal or state owned buildings with plastic siding.

“The main streets of cities and villages look cheap when decorated with this material. It is often used to avoid expensive repair of facades. What was the purpose of trimming the building of the Ministry of Education of the Penza region with plastic siding is beyond me,” the head of the region commented during the operational meeting on Monday, January 28.

Vasily Bochkarev suggested that the substitute of cheap siding can be more aesthetic and quality finishing material with brickwork surface texture.

“We must first of all think about the outlook of our cities and towns, not the benefits,” the governor concluded.
