Zarechny, 31 January 2013. PenzaNews. 23 municipal special-purpose vehicles, including tractors, dump trucks and graders working in Zarechny, the Penza region, were equipped with Global Navigation Satellite System.

According to the head of the utilities service of city administration Ilya Dilman, the satellite system will help tracking the movement of vehicles and follow the schedule.

“The city has a street cleaning scheme, and now it has become possible to track the tractor at any moment,” the official said.

He noted that the satellite navigation cost per unit and installation work amounts to 12 thousand rubles.

“It is planned that by the end of the year such systems will have been installed in all special-purpose vehicles,” broadcasting company “Zarechny” quoted Ilya Dielman.
