Penza, 11 February 2013. PenzaNews. Nine new HD-channels will be available to subscribers of digital cable TV by MTS across the Volga region, including the Penza region from Monday, February 11.

As the press service of JSC “Mobile TeleSystems” reported to news agency “PenzaNews,” the extended “Basic” package includes informational, educational, entertainment and sports channels.

The press service added that the subscribers will get access to an additional package of nine HD-channels for additional cost: “Discovery HD Showcase,” “Animal Planet HD,” “Nickelodeon HD,” “League HD,” “MTV Live HD,” “MGM HD,” “Mezzo Life HD,” “Fashion One HD,” “My Zen HD.”

According to the director of MTS in the Volga region Andrei Revkov, the current users of MTS cable television are provided with free digital signal receivers.

“Monthly fee in this case remains the same, but the number of channels increases and quality improves. The new subscribers will be able to rent equipment at favorable terms,” the agency interlocutor concluded.
