Penza, 19 February 2013. PenzaNews. A police officer refused taking a bribe offered by previously convicted, unemployed resident of Penza, who was arrested in a state of intoxication.

As the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained to news agency “PenzaNews,” the detainee offered one thousand rubles to the patrol officer of one of the police stations, where the man was brought to have an administrative violation report filed.

“The police officer immediately reported about an attempt of bribery.The fact is under investigation,” the department informed.
