Penza, 27 February 2013. PenzaNews. 2,8 thousand teachers of the Penza region will be certified in 2013. This was reported by the Ministry of Education in the region to news agency PenzaNews on Wednesday, February 27.

“Assessment of teachers will be held in association with the Pedagogical Institute of PSU. A committee has been appointed, the working schedule and expert groups have been formed. Testing papers have been examined in Saratov State University named after N. Chernyshevsky and found to comply with the requirements,” the department explained.

The ministry added that last year, over 90% of teachers confirmed the first or the highest qualification category they had applied for.

According to information posted on the state procurement website, over 2,5 million rubles will be allocated from Penza regional budget to provide services for the documentation development and expert assessment.
