Nikolai Kotov: Penza labor unions include 53% women

Penza, 1 March 2013. PenzaNews. Labor unions in the Penza region include 53% of women. The chairman of the Federation of Labor Unions of the region Nikolai Kotov at the opening ceremony of VI Regional Forum “The role of women in socio-economic development of the Penza region” held at hotel complex “Lastochka” on Friday, March 1.

“As of January 1, 2013 labor unions have 170,796 members, 91,185 of whom are women,” he specified.

According to Nikolai Kotov, labor unions scheduled to inspect labor protection for women and persons under the age of 18 in the nearest future.

“We shall verify additional benefits for women in various organizations, and check compliance with the work schedule,” he clarified.
