Penza, 6 March 2013. PenzaNews. A five-storied office building, constructed a few years ago in the private housing district in Nekrasov St in Penza, is planned to be demolished. This was announced by the director of construction company “Penzastroy” Valentin Zhuravlev on Wednesday, March 6.

“As you know, we have been building high-rise apartment buildings on one side of Pushkin Street, and are now moving to another side — Rayka micro-district. According to the project plan, this section of the city will have the buildings constructed by our company only,” he stressed.

Valentin Zhuravlev added that the five-storied building, constructed on the land intended for individual housing, is located on the territory of what is to become two apartment buildings, so the question of its demolition is to get an affirmative answer in any case.

“Certainly, we are going to make some concessions to the owner of the building, partially making up for their losses, but let us not forget that the city administration is still having legal proceedings with the construction company, which erected the building in the private housing district having ignored the existing planning project,” the agency interlocutor concluded.
