Pyotr Sidorenko, the head of the department for urban development and architecture of the city administration of Zarechny, the Penza region, was dismissed from the mayor’s office based on the results of the prosecutor’s inspection, which revealed that he also managed commercial organizations.

“Pyotr Sidorenko was appointed to the position of the head of the department for urban development and architecture by the order of the head of administration of Zarechny on 2 July 2012. In accordance with the employment contract, he was to fulfill his duty, to comply with restrictions, and not to violate the prohibitions associated with municipal service. However, according to the tax authorities, he is a co-founder of LLC “Design-Center-Project” and founder of LLC “Soyuzproekt,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the region Yuliya Makarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She added that the prosecutor’s office submitted a statement addressed to the head of administration on bringing the perpetrator to disciplinary responsibility.
