Penza, 14 March 2013. PenzaNews. Active snow melting will begin at the end of this week in the Penza region. This was reported by the head meteorologist of the region Valentina Nevorotova during a meeting of anti-flood committee.

“On March 15, 16 and 17 we expect rain, the temperature will rise up to +5C, and it will stay above zero during night and day,” the meteorologist explained.

She added that according to the forecast, surface runoff of melt water will be registered, and most of field snow will melt.

“By Sunday evening, March 17, temperature will fall, there is a chance of snow,” the press service of Penza City Hall quoted the head meteorologist of the region.
