Penza, 15 March 2013. PenzaNews. Penza State Technological Academy was granted the status of “institution of higher professional education” — “university” by the state accreditation boarder.

The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science Ivan Muravyov on Monday, March 11, but the information about it did not come until Friday.

“We are moving along the standard path — all programs which we currently have are accredited. The university maintains its technological direction. However, the status license allows expanding the programs in the future,” the press secretary of Penza State Technological Academy Natalya Borovkova explained to news agency “PenzaNews.”
