Penza students held teleconference with America

Penza, 18 March 2013. PenzaNews. Penza State University students held a teleconference with young people from America, the main topic of which was the concept of Russia’s foreign policy, adopted in February 2013.

The participants also spoke about the activity of the Russian citizens abroad, and their role in realization of the country’s interests.
According to the regional coordinator of the project “International Breakthrough” Ruslan Kondratyev, this kind of communication contributes to strengthening of Russian-American relations.
“Last time we discussed the options for participation of our fellow-citizens in socially significant events held in Russia, such as Olympiad and Universiade. We already know that 100 foreign volunteers are arriving in Sochi as interpreters,” he said.
As the press service of the PSU told news agency “PenzaNews,” in the end of a two-hour meeting a resolution was adopted, as well as recommendations to attract Russian citizens living in America for the implementation of youth projects on the territory of Russia.
